Terms of Service
1. Ownership and Intellectual Property
PowerGLAZE is the exclusive property of Suresh Sundaram and Ashok Subramanian. All rights reserved. The Software is licensed, not sold, and no ownership is transferred.
2. License to Use
You are granted a revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use PowerGLAZE solely for personal, educational, or studio pottery work.
2.1 Free Use
Free for:
- Individual studio potters (including those selling work)
- Community studios
- Educational institutions and school studios
2.2 Restricted Commercial Use
Not free for:
- Large businesses, manufacturers, corporations, or labs
- Industrial-scale glaze formulation or ceramic production
- Enterprise or research organizations
Such users must obtain a paid commercial license. Licensors retain discretion to determine eligibility based on scale, revenue, staff, and intended use.
3. Prohibited Actions
You may not:
- Modify, alter, translate, or create derivative works
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or access source code
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense
- Use for industrial/enterprise purposes without license
4. Attribution Requirement
Public references to PowerGLAZE outputs (videos, publications, workshops) must include:
“Generated using PowerGLAZE by Suresh Sundaram and Ashok Subramanian (Sundaram Pottery).”
5. glazy.org Integration
PowerGLAZE retrieves glaze recipes from glazy.org only when a recipe ID is entered. You are responsible for permissions and rights to any imported data. PowerGLAZE does not store or redistribute glazy.org content.
6. No Warranty / Use at Your Own Risk
The Software is provided “AS IS” without warranties. Ceramics, materials handling, and kiln firing carry inherent risks. Use entirely at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
Licensors are not liable for kiln damage, glaze failures, personal injury, loss of artwork or materials, or any indirect/consequential damages.
8. Termination
Licensors may terminate access immediately for violation of these Terms.
9. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
PowerGLAZE (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
2. Information We Collect
- Minimal technical data: browser type, device type, usage (for site function)
- No personal account information required
- No stored glaze formulas or session data
3. Voluntary Information
If you contact us by email, we receive only the information you provide. We do not sell or share this information.
4. Third-Party Data
glazy.org recipes can be imported via recipe ID. Data belongs to glazy.org contributors. PowerGLAZE does not store or redistribute it.
5. Cookies
Only minimal, essential cookies are used to ensure functionality. No advertising or tracking cookies are used without consent.
6. Use of Information
- Maintain and improve PowerGLAZE
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
8. Data Retention
Only required logs are kept (security, errors, server performance). No personal data is stored.
9. Children’s Privacy
Not directed at users under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The last updated date reflects the current version.
